First of all, a small presentation is necessary. Who are we?
We are a social enterprise operating for over 15 years in the area around Milan, which has its roots in the experience of the family communities of northern Italy.

Over the years, our activities have grown and have been organised in the cooperative Di Mano in Mano, today one of the largest companies in Italy in this field: we are more that 60 partners!

The meaning of our name:

Di Mano in Mano in English literally means “From hand to hand”. We want to make clear, firstly through our name, what our activity consists of: with give a new life to objects of the past and to everything that has got a history and has been owned by several different persons; which, in fact, has passed from hand to hand.

The sectors we operate in are antique furnishing, art and design, with a particular focus on everything which is Italian. We have the luck of working in a context of furnishing, objects and works of art born by the genius of ancient carvers, artists and designers from the 1950s, 60s, 70s, 80s, which we propose to our clients after an accurate work in our restoration workshops.

In our warehouses customers can appreciate cabinets, tables, chairs, sofas, decorative objects from several different periods, and of different styles, materials and shapes.
Moreover, besides our website, we have two shops which we set up with the best selection of the products in our catalogue: combining design with antiques, we try to be a meeting place for different epoques and generations.

The first area, intended for a living room space, is funished with a pair of 1950s armchairs attributed to the designer Federico Munari, next to an important bookcase by Renato Angeli, enriched by painted ceramic tiles by the artist Romano Rui. All around, mirrors and 19th Century bronze sculptures. In the second space, set up for a studio, a set of 19th Century bent maple chairs beside a 18th Century walnut drop-leaf cabinet with raised compartment, design 1960s fixtures and important paintings by Italian artists on the walls.

The second area, more classical, is exclusively funished with antique furniture, among which you will notice a Neoclassical table with Chile blue lapis lazuli veneered top and a carved and glided mirror frame from the late Neoclassicism in Lombardy.

If you love antique furniture and unique Made in Italy design, you will only have to follow us: every day several new products amd every month unique settings where you can enjoy the best of our catalogue.
